La Perla presents a new brand-concept

Important news for La Perla fans. The traditional Italian maker of fine lingerie, underwear and beachwear has developed a new brand-concept, which will encompass the entire La Perla line in Fall/Winter of 2010/11. From the coming season the diverse La Perla brands will be merged into three “Icon-Collections”. These new collections are: La Perla, La Perla Villa Toscana and La Perla Studio. As a preview of the new brand array La Perla is launching an advance “Icon” Spring/Summer collection and offering selected pieces in the Online-Shop.
By concentrating on three principal collections La Perla goes back to its roots and focuses on the essence of La Perla style. The new brand-strategy refers back to La Perla’s rich history while preparing the way for a successful future.
La Perla “Icon-Collection”
The La Perla “Icon-Collection” is inspired by the beauty of great Italian art and draws on two iconic elements, the shell and the pearl, which symbolise the birth of a new Venus. The La Perla brand will be a tribute to the timeless femininity of the Italian goddess and will continue to embody those ideals of sensuality and elegance that have made the company one of a kind since it was established in 1954.
La Perla Villa Toscana Collection
La Perla Villa Toscana is a new brand distinguished by a relaxed while at the same time highly-refined style. A “casual-chic” look pervaded by that seductive naturalness that has made Tuscany one of Italy’s most exquisite regions. This part of the “Icon-Collection” is distinguished by soft light-blue, lilac and natural shades adorned with precious lace bevelling and a delicate peony pattern.
La Perla Studio Collection
La Perla Studio has all the dynamism of metropolitan style and is dedicated to modern women who want to look feminine while being comfortable any time of the day. The La Perla Studio “Icon-Collection” sets its sights on revising a “cult” creation of the La Perla world, the Sculpted-bra, reinterpreted with contrast stitching.
