Parrot Tulips, Crocuses, Orchids, Pansies, Poppies and delicate Sweet Peas colour and pattern a bold bouquet from Dior’s garden that creates a fragrant mix of poetic abstraction and modern femininity.
Floral structure and organic structure inform cutting techniques as rich saturated dégradé silks reflect nature’s spectrum of colour.
Fluffy feather-like filaments of mousseline detail silhouettes to echo the elements of a flower while decorative surfaces are embellished with abundant textures and irregular pleat formations. Petal hems and
floral-cut techniques skillfully crafted by the atelier ennoble vibrant shades of frayed bouclé, felt, tulles, braided mohair, and taffetas.
Vivid hand painted petal skirts, pleated tulle rose motifs and printed triple layer organza gowns follow the precision and pigment of each floral reference to create a garden of new Dior beauties .
