Opulent restraint is the theme of the Michael Kors Fall Collection 2015 advertising campaign, shot by Mario Testino. “Fall is inspired by everyday indulgence, the idea that embellishment and richness should not be only for evening,” says Michael Kors. “I also wanted to look at the ways that opposites attract—day and night, masculine and feminine, glamour and simplicity. Since I wanted to express two different moods, I thought it was a great time to shoot the campaign with two different women.”

For Michael Kors Collection, Testino evoked a luxe and private moment by photographing model Natasha Poly in the backseat of a vintage Rolls Royce. The images highlight the rich, artisanal detail of the clothes and accessories.

The ads for MICHAEL Michael Kors feature models Karmen Pedaru and Benjamin Eidem as a globetrotting couple, their clothes and environment offering a modern take on the sporty glamour of the 60s and 70s jet-setters who have long inspired the designer.

The global campaign will debut in July, with ads running in fall issues of publications including several global editions of Vogue as well select editions of W, Vanity Fair, Harper’s Bazaar and Tatler in the US and Europe. In total, the fall print advertising campaign will reach 39 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia. The images will also appear in digital outlets, as well as social media platforms and traditional outdoor media placement.
