Missoni launches its new Missoni Eau de Parfum, the first Missoni women’s fragrance made and distributed by Euroitalia.
Missoni is breaking with tradition yet again by launching its new fragrance in a fun, unconventional way.
The fashion house, based in Sumirago and known for its unique and innovative style, was founded more than sixty years ago and made famous by its put-together looks.
Angela Missoni, the Creative Director, has chosen Oscar winner Paolo Sorrentino to direct the commercial for the new Missoni fragrance in an irreverent way.
Elisa Sednaoui, an international actress and model who served as the mistress of ceremonies at the 72nd Venice Film Festival, has been chosen as the fabulous face of the campaign.
The Missoni woman will be presented in a reality that breaks from conventional representations, amazing the viewer by showing the protagonist in all of her beauty – albeit in a completely unexpected role.
Elisa Sednaoui brings the only touch of colour to the cast thanks to an iconic Missoni dress and, only after she is sprayed with the new fragrance, does she dance in a fun, sensual way, winking at the viewer who is transfixed by seeing reality turned upside down yet again.
The fragrance’s debut is expected to take place in mid-November following the release of the advertising images and commercial – all directed by Paolo Sorrentino.

Angela Missoni took inspiration from the art of Venetian blown glass to create a unique glass bottle in shades of purple, fuchsia and green, blending together to result in a precious object with a contemporary and timeless design, just like Missoni’s unmistakable style.
Following it’s launch in Italy, the fragrance will move on to Harrods London on 22 November 2015, and will be available throughout Europe, the Middle East, America and the rest of the world in 2016.
