London-based designer Emilia Wickstead announced the opening of her new flagship store, located at 162 Sloane Street.

Marking a significant milestone, the designer moves from her first location on Cadogan Place, where she has been for five years, to a new store on prestigious Sloane Street, joining international fashion houses Chloe, Hermes and Prada.

Spanning two floors across 2,000 square feet, the new store offers Emilia Wickstead’s complete ready-to-wear collection, while remaining loyal to the services that launched her retail journey: made-to-order, made-to-measure and bespoke options.

The salon-style environment is designed to reflect the brand’s ethos of providing a modern twist on an old-world concept. Emilia Wickstead offers a unique approach to shopping and selling which is clever, fresh and modern.

Emilia says: “I’m thrilled about the move. My aim is for the store to further enhance the conceptual niche we have established that is befitting to my clientele. It’s the next step in what I hope will be an exciting new chapter.”

A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Emilia worked in the design studios and in editorial in New York, Milan and London before launching her eponymous label in 2008. Emilia Wickstead has shown during London Fashion Week since 2012, receiving two nominations Vogue Fashion Fund in 2013 and 2014 as well as the Dorchester Fashion Award in 2013.

Most notably the Duchess of Cambridge and Samantha Cameron are frequently dressed in Emilia Wickstead; as are women who epitomise the brand including: Poppy Delevingne, Alexa Chung, Olivia Palermo, Suki Waterhouse, Laura Bailey, Allison Williams, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Diane Kruger, Natalia Vodianova, and Dree Hemingway.

The official launch to celebrate the opening of Emilia Wickstead’s Sloane Street store will take place in November.
