The sound vibrations, atmosphere and sensuality of the ‘70s resonate in the new collection inspired by an iconic photo of Jimi Hendrix – an image that releases the kind of pure and dynamic energy that only music can generate.Patrizia Pepe: Foxy Lady,

Thoughts and notes of a symbolic era for rock music resurface with great intensity in the Patrizia Pepe woman, following her changes, beating the time to her experiences, and releasing her deepest emotions through a resonant style.

Experimentation with materials and colours, electric hues, high definition details and floral prints make for a creative journey, reinterpreting the true canons of the “Golden Age” of rock. Under the spotlight, the modern day Foxy Lady moves with ease and self-assurance, revealing a sophisticated yet sexy personality.

The seventies influence is immediately apparent in the use of bright colours, such as Full Blue, 70’s Orange and Magenta Purple, alternated with soft tones and mélange shades, as well as in the new interpretations of the A-line dress and miniskirt.
Oversized and enveloping silhouettes are flanked by the more typical, clean and rigorous Patrizia Pepe shapes, in a game of contrasting volumes that alternates sculpted or free-flowing flared mini dresses with skinny or flared high-waisted trousers.

Midway between masculine and feminine, the collection features shiny sparkles and sequins, eco-friendly faux leather garments in warm and burnt colours, camouflage furs and golden metal buttons borrowed from the military uniforms of the years of protest.

Each fabric and pairing is enhanced to the full. Baby alpaca jackets are worn over printed jumpsuits and light dresses. Down jackets reveal a couture soul. Chequered and houndstooth motifs encounter silk and lace in new, British inspired formal wear. Finally, denim lights up, along with knitwear and long coats enriched with decorative feathers and jewels.
