On the occasion of VOGUE FASHION’S NIGHTS OUT, the Rome Roy Roger’s boutique is transformed, on September 11th, into an installation called The Eco Jeans Project.
“The stars of the installation are the production phases of our zero-impact project that schedules reduction of the harmful emissions generated by the activity, requalification of the waste products and protection of the health of the workers,” explains Guido Biondi the creative director of the Group. “It’s an opportunity to display our commitment, stimulating us all to reflect on the need to safeguard the environmental heritage.”
And so in the window the large jute bale with the cut-offs from the jeans fabric is a reminder that nothing will be wasted, waiting to be sent off to those capable of regenerating the scraps in the covers of car dashboards. Above, some of the models of the numbered limited edition of Roy Roger’s eco-jeans, treated using washes with no chemical additives and a reduced consumption of water, on sale for VOGUE FASHION’S NIGHTS OUT.
For this special event, Roy Roger’s also offers a sweatshirt with the reproduction of the logo of the historic brand, which since 1952 has marked the history of Italian blue jeans. The sweatshirt can be purchased at 85 euro in store.
