For the Fall Winter 2014 Collection, Caterina Zangrando explores the universe of the essential geometry, light’s expression, women soul’s duality.
A futuristic edge that reminds Medieval scenarios thanks to the mix of urban colors and shapes: rusty brown, petrol blue, purple, gunmetal grey. Materials are treated as industrial bolts and combined with iron, gold, silver, rusted mat palladium, or new tech materials with a visual sensibility like resins.
Nature becomes the stage of this urban dance, where shiny mother of pearl, earth color, wood, animalier shades, pink nude and horn this gives life to unique and glamorous ornaments.
Contrasting materials, sharp variations of form, defiant volumes and pure, elegant lines are combined with perfect proportions.
Flowing concrete forms, complex in its seeming simplicity, contemporary, with a gentle nod to the past.
