Multicultural mélange. The spirit of the Blumarine f/w 14/15 collection is summarized by the new it bag: Niwa.
The exotic name refers to the Japanese word used to describe gardens. A sophisticated take on Japonisme, in fact, characterizes the satin surface, upon which brocade motifs draw a lush exotic vegetation, made precious by the choice of gold, emerald green and deep blue threads. In perfect contrast, shape and details suggest an urban, dynamic aesthetic.
Niwa is a shoulder bag of clean and precise design, closed by snap buttons; the short shoulder strap combines leather and chain. The coexistence of contrasts is reminiscent of the Wunderkammers, the cabinets of curiosities that inspired designer Anna Molinari this season: magical places where cultures and styles mingled in harmony. Similarly, Niwa is a bag with a double soul, both ethereal and metropolitan.
Available in three colors: emerald green, blue and black .
