The Blumarine Spring/Summer 2016 advertising campaign takes inspiration from the cinematic world of yesteryear.
Lou Schoof embodies a collection that juxtaposes realism and glamour: two opposites that are gently reconciled in a quest for suffused elegance, reinterpreted through the eyes of Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin.
The refined atmosphere of an elegant townhouse in New York is the perfect set to emphasize the strong color palette of Blumarine’s dresses – a pictorial mélange where delicate pastels are lit with intense dashes of orange, pink, red and black.
The protagonist is a woman who dresses to be herself, not to appear.
