Wim Wenders is the director of A Future Together, Salvatore Ferragamo’s Autumn/Winter 2021 campaign film and accompanying photography portfolio.
The three-times Oscar nominated director shot the film on location in Milan.
The film takes a tale-within-a-tale structure, combining present-day reality with a sci-fi adventure, laid over a burgeoning love story fueled with anticipation and intrigue.
It stars Gaia Girace and Felix Sandman, plus a highly talented supporting cast – and Autumn/Winter collection Future Positive, the collection engineered to view the present through a prism of the future.
This latest production from the Salvatore Ferragamo studio – and its partnership with the great Wim Wenders – continues the house’s long association with cinema and filmmaking.
This tradition began in 1923 when our founder opened The Hollywood Boot Shop on the corner of Las Palmas and Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles and was seen more recently in the collaboration with great Italian film director Luca Guadagnino on the Spring/Summer 2021 fashion film.
