KAMPOS and Costa Smeralda Consortium launch their first-ever capsule collection of 5 exquisite beachwear pieces.

KAMPOS and Costa Smeralda Consortium are taking their partnership a step further by launching their first-ever capsule collection devoted to two colors, turquoise and white.

The collection consists of a selection of five exquisite beachwear pieces, exclusively made with sustainable materials and handcrafted with care in Italy.

This summer, the Italian luxury sustainable swimwear brand, KAMPOS, and Costa Smeralda Consortium embark you on a magical journey through Costa Smeralda as they officially launch their first-ever capsule collection on June 2021. Together, they created five exquisite beachwear pieces that honor both Costa Smeralda and KAMPOS’ identity.

Costa Smeralda is KAMPOS’ birthplace and the launch of the collection has an undoubtly strong meaning for both partners.

The capsule collection’s story lies in the symbolic use of the two colors that characterize the collection.

The vibrant turquoise color represents the crystal clear waters of Costa Smeralda and expresses KAMPOS’ endless love for bright colors. The white color symbolizes Costa Smeralda’s sun that dazzles our face with softness and embodies KAMPOS’ refined and timeless style – the color is also the base color for the interior design of all brand’s boutiques.

KAMPOS launches the edit away from the typical fashion approach of a capsule collection limited in time. “KAMPOS is a brand that redefines norms and designs timeless pieces”, declares Alessandro Vergano, CEO and Founder of KAMPOS. “As we launch our first-ever capsule collection with Costa Smeralda Consortium, we wanted to remain true to our brand’s vision. This is why each product is classic, sophisticated and unique”. He also adds: “The launch of the capsule collection represents the first edition of the collection that we will progressively grow with time.”

Last November, the sustainable swimwear brand officially announced that they became Costa Smeralda Cortisium’s official partner, making KAMPOS the first ever luxury fashion brand to partner with Costa Smeralda Cortisium.

The Costa Smeralda Consortium, with the support of SDA Bocconi, has recently launched a strategic sustainability plan aimed at making the territory of northern Sardinia more sustainable and carbon neutral.

The development of the strategic plan, besides activities in various areas of sustainability by the 2030 Agenda SDG’s, as Circular Economy, Energy Efficiency and CO2, Water resources, sustainable mobility and Protection of biodiversity of the sea, also provides partnerships and networking activities to involve companies and people who share their vision and contribute to environment protection as well as social conditions improvement.

The collection consists of one swimsuit, one swim shorts, one towel and two t-shirts.

Each piece respects the swimwear brand’s commitment towards sustainability and garantuees quality. All products are made from sustainable materials and 100% Made in Italy.

The two hero products of the collection are the men’s turquoise swims shorts and the women’s turquoise swimsuit (with a touch of navy to remind the color of the brand’s logo). KAMPOS’ swim shorts are made from recycled plastic bottles collected from Mediterranean Sea.

Seven recycled plastic bottles are needed to produce each piece. KAMPOS’ swimsuits are made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon. 80 grams of abandoned fishing nets are needed to produce each piece. The collection is also characterized by a close attention to detail and elegantly combines the Costa Smeralda logo and the KAMPOS logo.

The first edition of the capsule collection ranges from 130 € to 220 €. All the pieces will be available in KAMPOS’ boutiques and online www.kampos.com.
