A strong aesthetic. Individual. Classical but recognizable. But above all, uniquely her own.
A visual language enclosed in its elegant way of appearing. Appearing with “grace”, where nothing exceeds … or is too much. But where everything is highly legible, understandable and immediately recognizable as part of its world, of its style. That of Rossella Jardini.
With this concept, she outlines the range of her Pre-fall 2016 collection.
The philosophy of elegance – so beloved to the designer – are also confirmed for this season – and the standards that characterize it, but she evolves them, she strengthens them, they steadily declines them to today’s forms: with the fabric, the shape, the volume.
The ruffles, leitmotif of the brand from the very beginning, redesigned and reinvented, follow their evolution and mix – in this second collection – with pleats: for dresses and shirts.
And again the pleats as an element that “fades” – as a consequence – the crepe fabric, a classic of the brand, in a perfect “manipulation”, focused and contemporary.
Scottish protagonism. The tartan theme – for coats, skirts, and shirts – edged with stitched velvet that recreates geometrical patterns that clearly inspire the 70s.
The colour: the focus is always on solid tones, decisive, targeted and without “hesitation” and never in-between, unloved by the designer.
And here the density of the red, yellow, green, purple, blue, and the black and white – the latter much loved by Rossella Jardini especially in the winter – the so-called winter white for shirts, the elegant overalls for “work”” and tuxedos …… always with a combination of black and white.
