Palazzo Gaddi di NH Collection in Florence was the stage for an unmissable event for fashion and Italian craftsmanship enthusiasts: the “Salon of Excellence”. In collaboration with Pitti Immagine Uomo and presented by DeGorsi Luxury Consulting, the event brought together a selection of exclusive brands strictly “made in Italy”, from bags to jewelry, including men’s tailoring and women’s haute couture.
The event featured the participation of Mirco Giovanni, guest designer of the event, who presented the collection “Knitwear Cloud Couture”, a sustainable e-couture project that combined the aesthetics of the ’50s with elements of futurism of the 2000s, creating unique and innovative pieces. In addition, the top boutiques of the Italian Fashion Buyer’s Association selected and awarded the most creative brand in the group, offering a special prize kindly offered by DeGorsi, the event organizing company of Cristina Vittoria Egger and Alex Dordevic.
The Palazzo Gaddi, dating back to the eighteenth century, represents a masterpiece of art and architecture, characterized by frescoes and decorations in Baroque style and was the ideal setting for the highly fashionable event.
The event also represented the great return of the company after the Covid years, registering a great success in terms of public and presence of professionals in the sector, surpassing even pre-pandemic numbers. A selection of high-quality artisanal brands fascinated the participants, such as the high jewelry of Giulia Iosco, the artisanal bags of Manira, the couture jewelry of EncarnaciĆ³n Vergas, the cashmere scarves of Purest, the bags that become small sculptures of Sy&Vie, without forgetting Chiaia Napoli, Maison Siniscalchi shirts, and Voglio Napoli pants. Viola Milano presented their latest luxury lifestyle and accessories, while Morittu and Marchesini tailoring presented an avant-garde sartorial capsule.
The next dates? In Paris, during fashion week, always under the direction of Cristina Egger together with the know-how of DeGorsi.
The return of this event after the Covid years was a sign of hope and restart for the Italian fashion and craftsmanship sector, which has played a fundamental role in the history of our country and continues to be an excellence recognized all over the world.
