Stella McCartney Kids’ inaugural Pre-Fall capsule is a playful celebration of childhood’s simple pleasures, emboldened and embroidered with light-hearted graphics including floral for girls and pizzas for boys.
The collection continues the brand’s commitment to sustainability, with 100% of styles made from eco-friendly material – massive achievement considering the capsule’s range and scale.
The cotton used was grown organically, encompassing jersey, fleece and knitwear pieces, while 100% of tulle was created with recycled polyester and all of the lyocell was sourced from sustainably managed forests.
A flower child moment for girls and babies evolves the natural escapism of the previous Spring Summer 2021 collection, blooming with embroidered and graphic floral across light jackets and knits, boho dresses and feminine, frilled tops in a soft palette of classic white and cream, alongside grey and pinks.
Denim elaborates on this hippie story through bell bottoms, wide-legged trousers and ruffled skirts and dresses in paler washes.
Boys and babies keep the Stellabration going, with a party of logo prints, skateboards and pizza-inspired motifs across hoodies, coordinated sweatshirts and shorts, t-shirts and track trousers – some emblazoned with cheeky ( but not cheesy) slogans like ” Slice to meet you!”.
Pieces are cooked up in a foundational palette of navy, white and blck, energised with saturated bursts of green and red.
