Calvin Klein Collection presented his Fall 2016 Calvin Klein Collection on the runway at Spring Studios in Tribeca

Calvin Klein Collection presented his Fall 2016 Calvin Klein Collection on the runway at Spring Studios in Tribeca this afternoon. The runway show was also streamed live online and will be available tomorrow for viewing at live.calvinklein.com.

Mr. Costa presented his latest collection to an audience that included notable guests actress Margot Robbie; Kendall Jenner, Abbey Lee Kershaw and Adwoa Aboah, who each currently appear in the Spring 2016 Calvin Klein global advertising campaign; Zoe Kravitz & Twin Shadow; Korean musician CL, as well as key editors, stylists, retailers and influencers.

This season, the collection represented a sensual exploration of urban eroticism, deconstructed proportions and luxe fabrics.

The interplay between his and hers dressing continues to be key, with suits comprised of precisely tailored jackets and soft wide leg trousers. Light and sultry shift dresses are emphasized by deep v necklines and unraveled hems. Inspired by the unfettered nature inherent in both the city and the wild, the collection features an unexpected assortment of plaid, Prince of Wales check, and pinstripe prints as well as oversized faux fur collars and gloves and digital coyote, lynx and skunk prints.

A striking culmination of dresses reveals exquisite polished stone and geode inserts; further emphasizing the juxtaposition of refined luxury and untamed wild. The contrast of masculine and feminine sensibilities persists with the season’s footwear silhouettes focusing on either ankle strap stilettos or elevated oxfords.
