The latest addition to the world of footwear is the highly anticipated collaboration between New Balance and Miu Miu - the New Balance X Miu Miu sneakers

Spring/Summer 2023 is just around the corner and Miu Miu, a brand known for its innovative and feminine vision, is continuing its collaboration with New Balance. The novelty this season is three new versions of the iconic 574 sneaker, the hallmark model of the Boston-based brand.

But these are not just simple sneakers, they are a hybrid and spontaneous reinterpretation of sports footwear that blends perfectly with Miu Miu’s feminine and ultra-modern design. The new New Balance X Miu Miu sneakers are made entirely of frayed denim in the colors of blue, marbled cognac, and white nappa leather with a vintage effect. The fringed upper, fabric lining, and logo screen-printed on the tongue, heel, and sole give these shoes a unique and original identity.

The silhouette of the 1980s, beloved by fans of the brand, integrates perfectly with Miu Miu’s handwriting, representing a perfect synthesis of deconstruction, reconstruction, and reinvention of wardrobe archetypes. The New Balance X Miu Miu sequence logo, already seen on the Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2022 collection runway in Paris, is printed on the tongue of all the footwear.

The advertising campaign, created by photographer and videomaker Moni Haworth, with model Kayla Dunlap as the protagonist, perfectly captures the essence of the collaboration between the two brands, between fashion and functionality, innovation and respect for technique and tradition, as well as the environment. The sneakers come in a sustainably designed and produced package.
