Sara Cavazza Facchini, the creative director of GENNY, chose supermodel Sara Sampaio to interpret the new Spring/Summer 2023 advertising campaign.
She said that Sampaio “has a natural aptitude for empathy” and “reflects the powerful vital spirit” of GENNY’s fashion. The collection is inspired by the Lowbrow art movement of the 1970s in Los Angeles, with a focus on “good energy” and a “conscious and sparkling femininity.”
The campaign was photographed by Dario Catellani and styled by Cathy Kasterine, resulting in a collection of “freshness, color, and vitality.”
